The First Day of the Rest of Our Lives

We wanted to kick off our summer with adventure, but it wasn't the normal things kids our age would do. It was mainly to celebrate Elena's birthday but Nicky and I also had fun without confessing aloud. It was all a surprise for our crazy friend and we first surprised her by showing up at her house. The first stop was at Ikea for some delicious swedish meatballs. (You probably didn't even know there was food there. ) It was pretty early but yet so many people were there to explore the wonderful flavors of the meatballs and lingonberry sauce. Next, we went to go see the movie Get Him to the Greek which starred Elena's favorite man in the entire universe, RUSSELL BRAND. We got there a little to early so we decided to go into a book store. This was my favorite part of the day! We tried to be serious and respectful but we ended in the Romance Novel Section, which destroyed all attempts. Being so fascinated by these books we preceded to take pictures with our favorite covers! The hour finally came for the movie and we were entertained the whole time! The last thing we did was take a stroll into Downtown LA to go see the Dodgers. At this point Elena almost cried because she loves her friends soooo much! Luckily, the Dodgers won so we decided to celebrate at the Pantry! (which is AMAZING). Breakfast at 12 midnight never tasted so good. It was a savory end to our day!

LOVE,
JACKIE
