So it's been awhile since ive been on this and i am happy to be back! I have been having so much fun in my new city SAN FRANCISCO!!! I wish i was as cool as these urban people who live here!... its so different from LA. but in a good way. They definitely know how to dress here, which makes me go crazy and i want to take pictures of everyones styles... especially at my school! everything would just be perfect if my family, my pig and best friends Elena, and Nicky.
I miss home very much but i dont want to leave! Ill be posting pictures of the Local Natives concert i went to at the Famous Fillmore here in SAN FRANCISCO!

I Met The Buried Life Boys

I need to apologize for us not posting in a while, but we've been busy settling into college. However, I think we're coming back BIG because last night I attended a taping of The Buried Life! It was totally spur of the moment. I literally saw a posting on facebook about it and i was then immediately on it to go.
The whole episode is around a list item of Dave's ( one of the members of the show) which was fighting in an Mixed Martial Arts competition. It was just unreal to be able to show up at a random place and be able to see all four of the guys: Ben, Duncan, Jonnie, & Dave. I am a huge fan of their incredible show and I was so happy to be apart of that list item and to be there with them.
I had never seen an MMA fight and much less go to one, so I was a little nervous as to how intense it was going to be. It's definitely for tough guys becuase they punch, kick, spit on each other and basically anything else to win. So when it was Dave's turn to fight, I was nervous for him. He was actually a pretty good fighter, he gave the other guy a run for his money for a long time and he made it to all three rounds. However, Dave unfortunately lost due to an awful injury! He completely dislocated his thumb!! Even though he lost, he did it like a complete champ and I don't think it was a failure at all. He did an awesome job.
Now for the best part: Meeting them!! All of them are the nicest guys in the whole wide world!!! Living in LA I've experienced really snobby "celebrities" and they are quite the opposite. They are so humble and gracious and everything that you want them to be. I can go on and on forever about how great they made me feel! So here goes my picture of the event and of them <3

Together Again

For this past weekend only, my best friend, the one and only Jacqueline, came back into town for some together time. There's no doubt in my mind that she came to see me :p, but she might have also dropped by to see her family that came all the way from Switzerland. I'm not sure, but regardless we had a little bbq at Jackie's house and ate delicious food, laughed at Swiss jokes and played Beatle's Rock Band for hours. Our friends Nicky and David also hung with us, and it just felt like Jackie had never left. It was a great night.

The next day was all about the shopping! Matthew and Janine (the Swiss cousins) were in search of our great American deals and eternal sale racks. We hit up a great little vintage shop and took them to the infallible mall. They bought tons and tons of clothes! It was spectacular to see. Jackie bought a few things like a beautiful sea green coat and a pair of boots that I might buy myself! I got myself a cute little beret with a black bow.

After the incredible shopping we went to a family party and repeated the fun that we had had the night before. It was a beautiful weekend and I can't wait for Jackie to come back in October.

Love,

Elena

Goodbye!

So today was my last day in LA. and let me tell you I am very sad but it is a new beginning. Yesterday was my actual last day to have fun and let me tell you we did! It was the fantastic four having fun through out the night yet again. We had a good typical hot LA day. First, we went to the zoo and then after we went to a ramen noodle place called Naga Naga which is now Nickys favorite restaurant. After the amazing soup we decided to go see what David was up to. After picking David up we went to Nickys grandparents house and let me tell you its 2.5 acres of beauty. The backyard is sooo big and the perfect place to take lookbook pictures. After we realized that David was hungry and so we decided to chill with him at a Mcdonalds. That ended up being the spot for that night since everyone told me a little something and how much they are going to miss me. Well, i have something for you guys.
(AHHHHHEEEEEEM)
So Elena, David and Nicky,
You guys are the best, and i love you guys¡ HONESTLY!
Elena you are my best friend and if it was not for you then i would have never met nicky and if it was not for Nicky, crazy David would have not been in our lives! SO, i love you kiddos. I will be back next week to party!

Another Great Day In L.A.

Jambo,
Today was another great day in Los Angeles but it was just Elena and myself today, but we still had a fun time. We did not get out of the house till very late, but where we went to go eat was worth getting there late. We went to a German hot dog place that no one really knows about in the Art District of L.A. While walking on our way we found some amazing art and walls with intense posters. I like each and every one if the posters. Enjoy some pictures!

Celebrating Jackie !

Yesterday, Jackie and I and our friends Nicky and David got together because as we all know, it's Jackie's last week with us before she leaves to college in San Francisco. We're super proud of her but I am terribly saddened about my best friend leaving me but instead of wallowing around we decided to rip it up all over LA and have fun. Like usual, jackie and I had lunch at Ikea with the swedish meatballs just the two of us while we waited for the boys. Then we headed out to Little Tokyo to eat Mochi. Mochi is an amazing form of Japanese ice cream and it's totally yummy but a little messy because you end up looking funny in powder. Later we just walked around and headed over to the famous Griffith Observatory because David's never been there and we couldn't have that. So we went and we just looked over our whole city for a while. It was super relaxing and fun. The funny part was when David thought he was James Dean and posed in front of his bust. Later on we got hungry as usual and left to Pasadena and ate at the world famous Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles. We ate so much that one of us got sick and had to sit in the car and just listen to music and chill in the awesome new car that Jackie has. It was an amazing night and we're going to keep doing these amazing days before Jackie leaves me.
Needless to say, the two of us girls were turning it out in the style department. We were all over LA and our whole crew was killing it!

Love you Jackie!!!
